May 2008 | New Media Awards

The undergraduate Computer Arts New Media Spring Show 2008 Awards Show was held on May 13 in the New Media Gallery. The top three nominees in each of nine categories were presented, and the winners announced to the many attendees at this year's event. Congratulations to all nominees and winners, and thanks to all who entered their work from the past year, which amounted to well over 500 separate entries.

All projects of the nominees and winners can now be viewed on this site in the Spring Show section.

May 2008 | AAU Spring Show

The Academy of Art University all-department Spring Show 2008 opens on Thursday, May 22 at the 601 Brannan Street (corner of 5th Street) building, where all AAU departments will have display areas representing their students' best work. The show opens to the public at 7:00pm on May 22, and runs throughout the summer.

June 2008 | Summer Semester startup

The Summer Semester starts on Monday, June 16, 2008. Be sure to register as early as possible. The Summer Semester ends on Wednesday, August 6, 2008.

July 2008 | Fourth of July Holiday

Please note that no classes are held, and all AAU buildings, including computer labs and the library, are CLOSED on Friday, July 4, 2008.

September 2008 | Fall Semester startup

The Fall Semester starts on Thursday, September 4, 2008. Be sure to register as early as possible. The Fall Semester ends on Friday, December 19, 2008.
